TenX Nutrition | Kenya

TenX Nutrition is a Nairobi-based social enterprise focused on developing innovative food products designed to improve health outcomes. Through local production and nutrient-enhanced foods, the organization works to expand access to affordable, high-quality nutrition across communities in Kenya and beyond.

Plumbee | Kenya

Plumbee is driven by a singular vision to become Africa’s leading experts in child nutrition by addressing the complex challenge of childhood malnutrition at its core. Our commitment goes beyond providing affordable food products; we are dedicated to empowering women as essential partners in expanding access to quality nutrition for all children. Through the creation of business opportunities and economic empowerment, we are driving sustainable change to build healthier, thriving communities across the continent.

Ghana: Legendary Foods Africa

Legendary Foods Africa | Ghana

Legendary Foods is on a mission to deliver the nutrition of meat at the price point and and sustainability of plants. By incorporating palm larvae, they can produce an affordable protein source to enhance products like cookies and shito sauces. MotherFood has partnered with Legendary to support the scaling of their business and the fortification of their product line.

Moppet | Nigeria

In partnership with EHA Impact Ventures, MotherFood is proud to support Roberta Oyedokun and the Moppet Foods team as they rapidly expand their business. The impact they have made to date has been incredible as they have sold over 3 million healthy and nutritious cereal boxes, employed over fifty people while doing so in a eco responsible manner.

Sight and Life | Rwanda

Partnering to scale maternal health, MotherFood and Sight and Life are delivering 4,000 bottles of life-saving Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) to support 4,000 pregnant women and their children across Rwanda. This initiative combines Sight and Life’s evidence-based nutrition expertise with MotherFood’s commitment to sustainable local solutions to eliminate maternal malnutrition and ensure every child has a healthy start.

Sanku | East Africa

Sanku scales technology and business solutions that prioritize putting critical nutrients into the staple foods eaten by hundreds of millions of malnourished people. Through a strategic partnership, MotherFood is sponsoring the deployment of Sanku’s IoT-enabled Dosifier technology at two small-scale food producers to provide millions of fortified meals to at-risk communities across Eastern Africa.

Loom Chocolate | Nigeria

Loom Chocolate, founded by Uzo Igweike, was born out of a vision to create something "incredible" using the abundant resources of Nigeria. With a skilled local team, Loom has become a leader in crafting delicious chocolate and cocoa-based products. Through a partnership with MotherFood, Loom Chocolate is now expanding its offerings by introducing new fortified products to further diversify its business.

Nigeria: Amayi Foods

Amayi Foods | Nigeria

Amayi Foods is an inspiring venture led by three female entrepreneurs who collaborate with local African farmers to empower communities through the direct sourcing of organic and natural ingredients. With over 20 community-driven projects and a workforce that is more than 70% female, Amayi Foods is committed to delivering products made from 100% natural ingredients. In partnership with EHA Impact Ventures, MotherFood is supporting Amayi Foods in its rapid expansion.

Nigeria: Amayi Foods

Amayi Foods is an inspiring venture led by three female entrepreneurs who collaborate with local African farmers to empower communities through the direct sourcing of organic and natural ingredients. With over 20 community-driven projects and a workforce that is more than 70% female, Amayi Foods is committed to delivering products made from 100% natural ingredients. In partnership with eha Impact Ventures, MotherFood is supporting Amayi Foods in its rapid expansion, with sales already tripling in 2024.

Colombia: The MicroFactory Project

The MicroFactory Project | Colombia

In collaboration with World Vision, MotherFood International trained three groups of twenty women across Colombia in Cali, Bogotá and Bucaramanga. The women continue to make nutritious fortified bars that are sold and consumed in their communities.

Jordan: MicroFactory Project

MicroFactory Project | Jordan

In collaboration with MEDA, MFI trained over 25 women to make nutritious, fortified bars, using local ingredients and taste profiles that were then sold all across the country.
